Tom continues to undertake engagements as a solo harpist, having much experience in playing for such functions as recitals, weddings (ceremonies and receptions), private parties, and evenings in restaurants. For many years now he has played for such functions at Hintlesham Hall, the celebrated hotel and restaurant in Suffolk.

His engagements vary from these formal occasions, through more casual events such as relaxing summer evening recitals and festivals, to alternative entertainments including fairs and rock concerts; he suits his repertoire and appearance to the occasion.
